Name: Tavi - Billy Hartley <In-game/Real name>

Position wanted: Mapper

Experience with Kryce: I'm not quite sure what kind of experience you mean, so I'm only guessing at what you mean. I've only been playing for a short time (Three days, I believe.), but I've been leveling (and exploring as much as I can.) as fast as I could.

Your abilities: I've only started to learn mapping, but what could it hurt to let a starter try? I'm very committed to doing a good job. I would create a map, If you didn't like it, I would simply clear it and try again. (>:3 I wouldn't log off until I made one you liked.)

Location: USA, North Carolina (I wake up sorta early and go to sleep very late.)

Average time taken on map creation:
(I take a while for details.)
Outside: 30-45 minutes
Sea/ocean maps: 10-25 minutes
Inside buildings: 15-30 minutes
Dungeon map (Medium) (1 floor/room): 35 minutes to an hour
House maps: 10-25 minutes
Mazes: 50 minutes to 2 hours (>:D I can make a damn good maze.)
PVP maps: 20 minutes to ??? (Depends on how "fair" you want it, for example a ranger's pvp room in the trees with disguised pit traps.)

Average map output *weekly*:
8-15

I've also been hired for some Ragnarok Online Game Master positions, but they didn't involve mapping, so I won't talk about them. (Unless I'm asked.)

Favorite map quote: "Caves are not created square, fallen trees don't appear for no reason and lobsters should never be handled without gloves." I don't know what the last part has to do with mapping but... oh well.

^^ To be honest, I would like the job but sadly, not for the actual job. I just though/think if I had a "employer" I would have someone to tell me when I make a mistake, thus make me a better mapper.

By the way, which mistake did you see?
The one mini tile missing to connect the grass and vine next to the water fall? (Damn, you must have good eyesight.~)
The animation of the waterfall (which is falling up, if you haven't noticed!) itself? (>:3 Animation is my weak point!)
or now that I told you both, both? (Maybe it's just the fact that it's a endless waterfall...(O.o Where does the water come from! At the rate it's flowing it would run out quickly...))

Only thing I dis-like is: The left side of the cliff is a bit to straight, and theres no detail on the map.

You have been working on that application some time ey?
Though, your experience won't do, how good mapper you are, well, I guess if you are an awesome one it wouldn't matter, but the experience is a verry important Thing.

But Yeah, I dunno what I weanna come whit this...
Why am I here????

I didn't like the left side either, I was just too sleepy to fix it at the moment of the creation, so I just slapped a classic temporary fix to it until I fixed it. (xD It was around 1:30AM when I made it... *Slaps self for making an excuse*)

May I ask your definition on detail is by the way? (I know I lacked a lot in the water, just couldn't think of anything that would fit in a place like that.)

Too much and too little is just so close together...

^^ Not really, I spent 10 minutes on the resume and spent 20 minutes on a map that I half-assed because I was half asleep.

Well no weeds, or long grass "Grows near water"

Grass could have some shade in there as well.
I would make a map to show, but I don't use those tiles anymore.

*Blinks and runs outside to the creek with a camera*

(^,^ I assume you must mean in the gaming world?) Anywho, Thanks for the information.

How far away would be "safe" from the water? (2-3 tiles?)

Tavi's Resume Krycee2
=l I didn't have any fruit tiles, I had to use flowers that looked like oranges.
Something seems unnatural now... -Ponders and searches for the source-

Some have dirt/mud transition on the sides, and a lot of weeds, ect.

This one has rocks, dirt/mud transition, ect.

Take a look at those 2.
