think fishing.
less afk, more check each day.
think 'bout how you grow berries in the new Pokemon game.
think tent.
trees grow, when tree is grown all the way, it gives fruit, tree keeps dropping fruit until it dies.
Fruit can be eaten, sold, or planted.

then something similar for other things like roots.

the fruits could have varying effects, like:
- HP +
- MP +
- SP +
- X2 EXP for 5 min.
- X5 EXP for 5 min.
- X3 gold drop for 5 min.
- X2.5 strength for 2.5 min.
- X2.5 defense for 2.5 min.
- ∞ defense for 1 min.
- ∞ attack for 1 min.
- ∞ speed for 2 min. ()
(only examples)


Just an Idea.
maybe even make fruit combining, if it's not too much work...

[side note A.:] Apple trees should be avoided, as they don't grow like other trees... but if you want, I won't complain.

Farming means timers, timers means more server lag.

no it doesnt need timers if you do it right

you can make artificial timers in vb...

using the GetTickCount API function...

simple really...

each timer the server does its AI loop...

Player(index).char(.....).FarmTimer = gettickcount

if player....farmtimer + 60000 <gettickcount then
...
end if

that checks if a minutes past...
