| When I get this error it is always accompanied by an error involving directx (saying I don't have 7, which I'm sure I do)
"Run time error '401':
Can't show non-modal form when modal form is displayed"
"Error initializing DirectDraw! Make sure you have DirectX 7 or higher installed and a compatible graphics device. Err 429,` Desc: ActiveX component cannot create object"

| Ok, if you recently set the UAC to the lowest setting you may need to restart your computer first. Then install one of the following appropriate for your system Library Installer 32-bitLibrary Installer 64-bitThen try re-installing the Kryce-Online client. This should fix your problems. | |

| Have you tried jst simply updating directx?
kris honestly the lib files may be the fix to every error ever made

| Fallen, i know what i'm talking about... Crashes etc are normally from the coding. Run time 9 is ALWAYS from the coding.
Anyway, with windows 7, it doesn't like my installer with the registry files. So we use an external one from the Eclipse site to install them as a bypass

It may well be the DirectX... but yes I did try to update it :p

| yeah, all it is is that the library files haven't registered properly. try running this and let me know if it works after. Win7/Vista Hotfix downloadit will most likely say a few dll's can't register but that's fine. | |

| try running the hotfix again then restart.
either that or open up command prompt and type in teh following:
Regsvr32 C:\Windows\system32\dx7vb.dll
then restart | |
